My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Love those pins, for a small couple of cents, why don’t lock manufacturers put those type of security pins into their locks, sooo as when people see videos of such, they see how more difficult it would be to pick the locks – remember: “Word of Mouth Can Kill a Business” !!

  2. Great start to a new season “The Second Millennium”. One day I shall be able to use this video when my skill level increases, As always Thanks Bill and keep the information stream flowing.

  3. Ha +bosnianbill I picked my first lock it was a master lock pad lock used a W rake and a the tension tool. Thanks man I was excited when I did cuz I learned from you

  4. can you share the make/model of the vise you use? I just started lockpicking with a set of sparrow picks thanks to you and need a good vise to hold while I practice. kind of like the looks of yours

    1. Bill’s quote if you scroll up says “My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company. The one with the wide jaws is the model 350. The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – http://www.panavise.com “.

      1. I found an incredible deal on eBay, it was brand new in the box w/ slight water damage, a Panavise 350/312 (new they run $100 – $120US) I put in a bid and won for $33.50 US. After 10 min of rust removal from 4 screws and applying Birchwood Casey “Super Black” touch-up pen I had a Brand new Panavise and I Love It! (2 cents – Wait until you get a deal on the Panavise 350 upper w/ the 312 lower it will hold ANYTHING (short of a safe).
