  1. I was browsing old videos to get my “Tribe Fix” for the day and saw you detecting the stainless steel tang of these picks with a magnet, which surprised me. I was under the impression that stainless was not magnetic but apparently it can be worked to be so.

  2. Your videos have made me really get into lock picking, making it a hobby I’d like to keep on continuing.

  3. As ever really interesting and very informative. I would have also liked to hear what you feel would have been a more accurate value on that pick set from Southord Max (I believe it was).

  4. I think I will spend my money on the buying the individual picks I need to up my game. Southord sells the picks individually and I like my art store pencil case.

  5. Having it tumbled seems to be a sign of premium quality these days! 🙂 Some sets come like bitten out of raw sheet metal, so yeah, this is a good kit!

  6. thanks bill, totally agree. no TOK ? case looks identical to the MPXS-20. which is a nice case but paying extra?

  7. well i’m very new too this i just got into lock picking because i always forget my keys and need a way too get in instead of having too call my mom. but this is really addictive too watch.

  8. Southord has there following. But the Southord Maxx single pick is $15 US . and that is what they were picing it after. To bad they didn't get the locksport community's ideas first on something as simple as witch picks to provide. instead it seems they just took the first 8 picks they grabbed. And we are lucky we got the one hook. lol
Ok I have always wanted a Southord Maxx because they are so tough. but couldn't pull the trigger on $15 a pick.

  9. I'd hate that set. Southord max short hook is so short that you really need something deeper if you're into spp.. I've had not too much success with sourhord rakes either, much prefer some other brands even though I'm not too much into raking anyway.
