My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. bill, why don't you make some 12 high-low rakes and try them all , one of them would fit the key bitting and open the lock easily without SPP'ing it

  2. what kit would you recommend for someone looking to get into lock picking. my job sometimes requires me to get doors open (legally) without drilling the deadbolt. and I'm tired of calling locksmiths or having to climb in through windows

    1. My favorite photo booth memory was at a friend’s wedding. They had one set up at the reception, along with a box of props, and the results were hilarious. It was a lot of fun.

  3. On pinstack #1, you need the driver pin, because the break-away key-pin can't act as a driver, because even using the key, wouldn't pop the top inner pin above the sheerline. Tight tolerances on the core made it more difficult than average. I bet if that lock was pinned with the original pins and original key, I STILL wouldn't be able to pick it.
