My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Great workmanship and design. Would love to see how that was actually done. Chlorate’s idea sounds good. So are the missing driver pin holes filled solid or just empty? Gotta wrap my head around this.

  2. What amazing idea for a lock…. I'm still new to locksport and I've still to see many types of lock but I doubt I'll see another like that soon.

  3. Oh god. while I was scrolling through my subscriptions on my phone, looking at video thumbnails, I went past this video and I thought i saw another goddam fidget spinner. XD thank god it was still just another lock.

  4. That's very cool! Seems like maybe that would need to be master pinned in order to pull the key out of the next color? My finite mind is blown. Cheers! Chris.

  5. Hmmm if I had to guess I would think that each of the 3 cylinders only has about 3 driver pins inside, and each key has low-cuts on the inactive pins of their respective lock. You can see at 5:12 when Bill turns it around, that one of the key pins is just floating there with no driver behind it.

  6. just getting into lockpicking as an expansion on solving puzzles, and Bill, your videos are extremely educational. thank you!
