My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I only just begun picking and thoroughly enjoy all of its aspects but actually designing/constructing the picks themselves has been a blast. Truthfully I was surprised how easily loj0cks are defeated. If people only knew lol

  2. I am new to picking and thought maybe somebody here can help me. I have spend at least 6 hours total in attempts to learn to pick 3 different Master Locks open reliably. I have mainly focused on attempting to rake them open, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to rake them open reliably. It is incredibly frustrating, as I have read and watched on YouTube that raking should open Master Locks in seconds whereas I have literally spent hours without an open! I haven't been completely unsuccessful–I have gotten several opens, but it's very inconsistent and unpredictable. I can't figure out what I am doing wrong here! I use light tension and repeat the raking process as shown by countless videos on Youtube. I am at a loss, but I am close to giving up the hobby because it is incredibly frustrating to spend hours on something that should be accomplished in seconds, even by a beginner with no skills. Can anyone offer any advice? This is driving me nuts.

    1. Enjoy the ride, you will figure it out and pick them at will. Try a triple rake on the number 3’s and something like a Petersons Bogie on the number 1’s. Tension bottom of the keyway on the left side, the 3’s open 90% of the time by simply sliding the pick in and withdrawing it angled up or down- Have fun

    2. it sounds like you are trying too hard. check out bill’s video#404.on master locks I use the snake rake, also known as the best buster. works fantastic on most….also try counter clock- wise tensioning, ,if possible…a standard pick inserted UP-SIDE DOWN,and rocked gently ,moving down the pinstack ,sometimes works wonders….Fred

  3. I have a feeling the last clip with the explosion is made with your rocket launcher. I am assuming that you are armed like a prepper and that you have a hidden gun in every room of your house(s).
