My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Can you do a video on how to find out the combonation on a american combination lock. I did pick it. Its from the american lock company. The lock is from the early 80’s with a key hole in the back. You have great videos. Master lock should be call easy lock. You dont have to be a master to open them. Opps did i say a bad work ma##$$ lock. Thanks

  2. I believe WE learn more from our mistakes!!! If we learn from them, they are no longer mistakes, but learning experience!! Your video was perfect!!! Thanks!!!

  3. Bill your the best and I love watching your stuff. I can’t open American locks..By the way I opened a Hurd lock like the one you killed took a year, been doing this for two an a half years.

  4. Uh oh! Did Lock Noob maybe include some brandy after all?

Just kidding, Bill. Your videos are superb, terrific resources for the locksport community. Thank you–

  5. I had an Idea where you could put the gutted pins as a Picture in picture so that people can see the sequence as you're picking it.
Would people be interested in that as much as I would or are people here for the mystery and figuring out what pins there are?

  6. I believe those pins were a wine bottle, a wine glass, a goblet, a couple of others that were related to the name of the lock. I believe it wasn't a challenge lock rather it was an opportunity to show off his home made pins

  7. We all make mistakes, and this wasn't expensive, just embarrassing.

Here we actually pronounce the "K" in Knipex, and when listening to some of their videos they do that too in Germany.
