(1225) Bill Clegg’s Challenge

LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Love your videos! How to contact you? (Found an off-the-shelf combo lock that is particularly challenging (Master 1535D) and also have some DIY pick-making sources and techniques I’d like to ask you about.
HarborFreight Banggood, and Fasttech have some really interesting stuff (and not necessarily in their lockpicking section!) that I think you should take a look at!

  2. Great work B’Bill. I thought for sure the tension wrench was going to fall out about 5 min mark.

  3. Seeing you use what you refer to as a "postal" hook a lot more often these days.
You have said in the past they they were pretty much useless and to sand them down!
    Good job.

  4. I picked my first lock this week. Not for fun as I locked myself out of my woodshop. I used a Bobby pin as the pick and the brass piece off of a picture frame as the wrench. My old lady said all of my B.B. videos paid off.
