My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I've watched all of your videos up to this point. Many more to go. Just wanted to let you know today I went to one of the local locksmith shops and bought my first can of Abus baby spit. The lady at the counter kindly gave me 2 masterlocks(one had a cut shackle) and one Best core to pick. I also checked at one storage facility, but they didn't have any dead locks.

  2. Corbin uses spools as top pins by default from the factory, or at least they used to. Almost all of my Corbin's have those top pins, 4 or 5 spools and one regular.

  3. The bottom pins are likely nickel-silver, and the tops could be Lab serrated pins. I see the spools available from suppliers in packs but usually not the serrated. I have a Lab security pin kit that has a healthy selection of both.

  4. I'm probably not the best guy to make this video because I have a big box full of locks I can't get back together. There are so many specialized tools out there to re-assemble proprietary locks that I could win the lottery and STILL not have enough money to buy it all. I wouldn't know where to begin…

  5. Bill have you considered making vids about how to put locks back together?
I have few more complicated locks like Kaba quattro, Multilock interactive and multilock mt5+ but I don't want to take them apart until I'm sure I know how to put them back together…
even seeing what tools you use would really help a lot of us lock hobbyists. 🙂

  6. Give it some time. If highlighted on YouTube's "Recommended Videos", it'll fly. Thanks, I'm trying to juice things up a little. Several people have sent in photos and stuff & I finally found something to do with it all.

  7. I think it turned out more than OK, it's very nice.
I didn't knew you made it personally I thought a friend made it to you.

PS. (I'm going to email you the piece of paper I got from the post when I've sent you the locks, I forgot to bring the cable with me to upload the photo. It's in Hungarian, but still 🙂 .)

  8. There are more than a few kicking my butt! I have a whole box full of "prisoners" (unpicked locks) that won't get "released" until they yield their secrets & open to my pick. They are laughing at me and their leader is a guy named Mul-T-Lock MT-5.

  9. YOU'RE WELCOME! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, BUT YESTERDAY
I HAVE ORDERED A FEW LOCKPICKING SETS BECAUSE
OF YOUR VIDEOS. SEEMS LIKE A VERY NICE HOBBY TO HAVE NEXT TO MY WATCHMAKING HOBBY. 🙂

  10. Ahahahaha, glad to see you are having fun with them. Selim locks look oh so innocent until you show them a pick then they just laugh. I will show him this video when I see him next.
