My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. actually when i was in the army i saw that "dont tread on me" flag being used as a guideon flag and painted in the barracks and i had no idea it was a marine flag you learn something new everyday =D

  2. Oh… Sovereign's use that flag too Bill… Southern Poverty Law Center finally listed them as a Security Threat Group. The FBI and many Law Enforcement agencies also see them as a threat to their safety. I don't care what peoples government/political views are…but throwing up Sovereign flags on your house, car, or whatever, is setting yourself up to get labeled as a possible threat to more than just a lock.

  3. Bill, the holes on the side of the cylinder are for construction keying, a type of master keying. When construction keyed, 3 very small ball bearing are used for a master tumbler. When the change key is used, the balls fall into those holes and the construction key "should" no longer work.

  4. Hey Bill, is that Peterson a gov.steel model or the less expensive steel? Do you feel the extra cost of the government steel is worth it?

  6. Figured I would go easy on you for this package, and Norseman's lock would be bad enough!

Oh and my offer is still available to you… Pepto-Bismol pink with Mint green ivy stenciling.
