My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Bill, i was sad when you said you probably couldn't afford that medeco lock. Your close to the top of your industry, you should be able to afford any consumer lock you want. Do the premium medeco padlocks cost more that $1000?

  2. One of the Master locks is a lever lock and one is a warded lock.

The Kwikset might be  dual keyway lock with the second keyway under the scalp.

  3. That K2 also has a second keyway for landlords or other master keying uses if you just spin the face plate 180 degrees the second one will be revealed.

  4. Nice old locks. The K2 lock is Kwikset's commercial hardware but same as Kwikset Smart key. The SEARS lock would be better if it had original key. The "cuts" on the bow aren't anything but to ID the key. I think the reverse keyway of that one had the bow "cuts" reversed also.  The loooong key is a safe key and cut just like a safe deposit box. As Jeff said the Falcon should have a screw the remove the core like American/Master padlocks.
Bill, I like the term "rocker picking" instead of "bitch" picking.
