My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Bill, do you have any idea what the metal tag with the Medeco keys does? I've got an older style security system in my house, and our Medecos has a couple of those tags.

  2. I agreed with on those cablelocks intended for guns. They are horrible. I mean, if a amateur like me can pick them using picks made in china in less than a minute, it really do say something about the quality… 🙂

  3. could you use you dimple bump lock on the Bilock? In video 430 I noticed @ 2min there's an adapter that looks like it would fit the key way. I know there's more to it than just bumping it open but I like trying stupid thing : )

  4. Interesting quote from the BiLock website:

The BiLock cylinder is pick proof.  There are several videos in the internet showing BiLock cylinders being picked.  Not a single one has been done with a factory certified cylinder, in public and with witnesses.  If you look close most of the videos show the lock picker staring at the actual key while they are picking it.  We often donate our locks to lock picking conventions to continually test the quality and reliability.  So far we are perfect.

  5. The CAT lock is the first lock I ever picked. nice trainer lock for wafers I think it only has 2 or 3 in there. Yes you you can get your hands on any cat key for the equipment that will work on this lock. They are all universial. I have seen you pick the older BiLock  but was just wondering if the new improvments in security like the floating center pin helped out or not.
