My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. That first cilinder with that weird tailpiece is from a pucky style padlock if I'm correct.
So that tailpiece already is the hardened shackle.

  2. Yes, funny thing happen! When I got the box of locks the first lock I took in my hand was the master DG US, I picked it in my first try!, when I got my camera to try to record me, now I think the padlock knows that's it's being recorded and it won't cooperate!! Jajaja! The video coming soon! From Puerto Rico!

  3. Bill Actually I think the mortise was also sent by me? I never took off the plastic(blue) yes defently it was pin by me! The American cylinder is from a 2000 round padlock but wasn't mine!
Tomas Carrasquillo the tactical locksmith :-), I got your box a few days ago!

  4. Bill, and everyone else, the third driver pin is called a mushroom pin as it looks like a mushroom. They give you those great false sets when the cylinder turns like in the video. I believe the two US SET American padlocks I have use at least one mushroom pin.

  5. Love your videos think your great was wondering if you can give me a list of tool and cases you use for eg: the tray you used the tweezers and some good picks and pick cases thank you

  6. Stay in the lab long enough, consistently, and you'll be single. Trust me…previously married x3. Oh, and to expedite the process, you can always ship out a few 3d printers (with software) to a few of us.

  7. hope this isn't a stupid question, but does using a vice make much of a difference than doing it freehand? i have never used a vice (to pick a lock) and wonder if i should go pick one up.

  8. Great picking as always Bill and very nice American tubular lock. I have an American 2000 puck lock core in my display, but does not have the puck casing. I was fun to pick.
