My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. forget picking, how does it stand up to more typical thievery methods like bolt cutters?  They're like $6 and I've got a billion security pins laying around that I can put in the thing.

  2. Hey Bill, I've been watching you for a little while now and I've been curious as to where somebody young can get started in lock picking, just as a hobby of course, taking your advice of staying legal. Do you know anywhere that I can I get some beginner tools and some locks? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

  3. Hey Bill, here's challenge for you – pick a lever lock(since i haven't found any videos of you featuring lever lock)

  4. Good job once again Bill, even though it was a quickie! Wait, let me re-phrase that! Seriously, I do enjoy all your videos. I really appreciate (being a little older) the fact that you don't have loud music playing. It 's great to hear what you are saying in addition to seeing the picking. Keep up the great work.

  5. What is the most expensive part of a lock ?? As it appears, the heavy steel security physical body of the lock & shackle seems like it would be, but apparently the inner parts seem to be expensive to this company as they save .006 cents on an additiinal 6th pin, yet they take the time and wear & tear $$ on their (milling, drilling, man hours $$) machinery to drill that 6th hole to fall short of a goal!! SMDH !

  6. Super picking!
And in my oppinion any Lock manufacturer should add these screws to remove the shackle, so you can rescue the locks wich are cut with a boltcutter, from their sad end in a dumpster.

  7. Love the videos .. One day I will have to post some of my own … Usually spend my Sat or Sun morning with a cup of coffee catching up on your new videos…
