My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Hope you dont mind me bringing you back to such a old video; but out of general curiosity, what type of pins do you assume are in these type of locks? I happen to have one still attached to the bag that my father managed to find for me, and am very hesitant to rip her apart. Havent attempted to even pick this lock yet as that warding is a little hostile towards my fat windshield wiper picks haha. Great vids man!

  2. I remember successfully picking this same lock installed in can is bank bag. The lock holds down the zipper pull. Unfortunately I already knew the bag was empty :)

  3. Would save diesel using encrypted USB keys maybe? Then again recent report found NONE of 75 UK prisons were encrypting their hard drives. And paper works without power. You showed zips could be bypassed – bank bag zips too?

  4. Bill, great pickin', these bags are made approx 3 miles from my home in Pennsylvania. I think they (A. RIFKIN) only mfg/sew the bags, dont think they make the locks though ??
I see alotta them at the local flea markets . . . …

  5. Nice pick Bill. yes either the sack uses a tamper seal strip, or they are also made to put the zipper pull right under that lock lever to keep the bag from being opened by the zipper

  6. Hi bosnianbill, I have been trying to open this padlock for days :"master lock magnum M532XKADLH". It has no pins, the core has levers instead, none of the levers click, the all remain springy, how would u attack that? Thanks
