My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. +bosnianbill One thing I don't get about why you like the Abus locks.. I get that they seem well made, but I just got a bypass tool from sparrows and was surprised to find how easy it was to bypass my abus locks! I can't even do that with any american locks and such. What gives, abus? They haven't fixed this vulnerability yet?

  2. The Abus 83 series are great. One of the coolest aspects is that it is essentially an interchangeable core system which can take not just Abus' semi-proprietary cores (which are great to work with) but also a ton of key-in-knob cylinders (even Mul-T-Lock, Medeco, and Abloy). Page 10 of the official brochure gives you the codes which appear on the face of the core (300 on the one in the video) which corresponds to the keyway and pin counts. Most of the current cylinders are convertible to 6-pin but some are not (Kwikset primarily).
