My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Viktor is from Vienna, Austria?? I'm also from Vienna – any chance we gonna meet/contact you (do you attend the monthly lockpicking session at the Metalab in Vienna)? 🙂

Small Edit: The LUX-Lock which you picked to open the box is a hardware store brand one, affiliated with the local hardware store company "OBI".

  2. Hi Bill!
I finally can say that I've watched ALL your videos. 🙂 Besides learning everything about locks and lot of fun, I've also bought myself something because of you… HUBSAN X4!
    Lock lab rules!

  3. Very nice package and very kind of Viktor for sending them. The picks look great. He sent me two custom ones with wooden handle which are same design as the ones you have. I have not wanted to use mine in fear of scratching them as they are so shiny. I have them on display with my lock collection

  4. hey bill you always have the nices knifes,,,and i like the chest hahah if you have any extra plug followers u make laying around would love to have a couple,,,he i got some locks if you want

  5. Hey Bill, since my first set of picks is the same set from Huk, I feel it's worth mentioning that the level of polish you're seeing is the factory finish.

  6. Those picks are made in China.  They did have a website at http://www.lockpickcn.com but it seems to be down.

VDE also happens to be the name of a German nonprofit testing and certification group (Verband der Elektrotechnik, Elektronik und Informationstechnik), probably the oldest in Germany, founded in 1893.

  7. Hope that Shlage isn't like the ones I sent you LOL. Very cool pickset. It is suppose to be warm tomorrow so I can get out in the van and work on some challenge locks.
