My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I was going to suggest an using earplug a while back. Buy some old flip flops and make some plugs from the medium density foam rubber. I have been getting out to the desert to shoot lately, and have a new love for my diminutive Beretta 3032 .32ACP BUG. It was so miserable to shoot at indoor ranges I never cared for it, but now I am well within effective at 25 yards just like my daily carry 9s, .357 Mag, .38, .40S&W, .41, .44, .45, .454, .480, .500S&W, etc. The gun is tiny but it’s a blowback so indoors the hot shell casing bounce off the ceiling and onto my head, down my shirt, etc. I pick the locks on some certain ranches, but the ranchers are all cool with me being there, and were elated when I picked 40 or 50 old Master type locks left by hunters over the years, and removed those locks from the chains on their gates. A few I had to cut off with a grinder. The ranchers are leaving the opened locks on the chains so hunters who don’t carry locks can use them. I have a standing invitation to shoot as many African ring necked doves as I want at 3 ranches. Come on out!!

  2. Your videos are truly inspiring, I hadn’t picked up a pick for close to 40 years and now I can’t put them down.
Sore hands, cramped fingers and a huge smile on my face,
    thank you.

  3. I dont think it a challenge lock when..
    1-there are master pins
2 the top of the plug has been filed flat.
It makes picking easier not harder. I bet this was more difficult before it was modified.
