(912) Review: Sparrows Chaos Survival Card

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I’ve been playing with lock picking for years. I have everything from pick guns to nice pick sets to cheap “credit card” BS. If this is 1/2 as good as the review says and it looks, it’ll be a great addition to anyone serious about E&E tools or just playing around. Stainless steel makes a big difference & the different tool (including the handcuff key!) is great. Now, where the hell do I get one?? Enough teasing already!

  2. Beautiful tool set for an emergency. I’d love to have a couple, whether through the give-a-way or a vendor.

  3. i have done it for five years and i haven’t seen any of this by us in south Africa

very nice could do with a nice set of pics

  4. Cool looking card. How hard is it to remove the individual pieces without a pair of snips? If you find yourself in a situation where you are going to need to use the picks, will it be easy to separate them out of the frame by hand with no other tools?

  5. I like the idea of the design. How strong is the pieces with rusty locks? I am willing to give it a shot.

  6. Tell you man I just keep on learning and learning and learning
On the last lessons of my schooling… Need some tools would love to win a few things to get started thanks again bill

  7. Been watching for a few months now, Absolutely loving all the guides and challenges. Keep up the great work!.

  8. Have seen these before. First time someone has broken one apart and actually used it in a demo. I’ve only seen a few of your videos(I can hear your distinct voice) and I really love what I see. Great work and a great thing you have built here! Thank you!

  9. Dear Bill,
Always fun to watch your videos. One comment on the sparrows Chaos card review. It appears, at least on the video, to have been laser cut, which is good , for a number of reasons. But I’m guessing the individual pieces were not spot welded in place. Rather, what you’re seeing are the small heat affected zones (HAZ) from the cuts being stopped and started. So basically, there is only one manufacturing step to make the finished product. As the cost of laser cutters comes down, and there availability goes up, imagine the possibilities!

    1. The use of fiber-optic lasers makes them faster and cleaner edges now.
The laser stops on those points as suggested and leaves them for breaking later.

  10. I am going to have to get one of these because they hide so well, and work quite well, in wallet or pockets. Nice set at a nice price.

  11. Love all the videos I found that lock picking has helped my physical dexterity and concentration. I
