My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. If you file down a piece of music wire or a bicycle spoke to fit in the bottom of the keyway the same as you would making a pin clip for a euro cylinder, then when you pick the lock open you can insert the pin, turn the core 180 and butt the pin up against the plug follower so no pins get stuck in the circlip groove or the cutaway on the back of the plug on the way out.

  2. Looking for the new “retainer remover” shown about 9:18 mins in on #923 Steven’s First Challenge. Not found on Sparrows, Peterson or Lock Pick Shop websites. Where could these be sourced? Please advise and thank you.

    1. You might have better luck with someone that specialises in fasteners like an engineering tool supplier or bearing services. Most of the time you can rotate the clip until you find a hole, put a pin in it and push the clip out with a screwdriver.

  3. Didn’t seems as difficult as it has been for me to find lock pickers here in Longview Washington. Man, this area is desolate. Had to buy the Ultimate Adversary Lock from Learnlockpicking.com just to have a lock to pick. All of the locks here get thrown into a landfill. What a waste!
