My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. In case anyone's wondering, that's a Souber pick Bill's using- his favored brand, Peterson, doesn't seem to make dimple picks. Sparrows, a brand he's mentioned and used a fair number of times (and you guys have prolly seen that sexy Sparrows pinning mat, anyways), also doesn't carry it.

As far as Google's telling me, there's two other companies that carry flags. One is Goso, a Chinese company whose picks Bill has criticized in more than one video. The other is Southord, a company evidently based in Orlando, Florida- and they refer to them as "dimple picks".

There's also Jiang Shi Xin Yi Dai Dian Nao Kuai Kai, a set/brand/thing that Bill has lauded as "GREAT". For once in his life, he says, he wasn't disappointed in this dhgate[.com order].

So there you have it. Happy picking!

  2. I've been a locksmith for 15 years and consider myself to be pretty useful with a pick and tension but this video blows my mind. I've attempted dimple keys but usually find a different way to get through them typically my drill. You sir are a master with lockpicks.

  3. +bosnianbill What a great Video Bill so helpful. I've just got one of the Yale Dimple Lock that you have in this Video and it's a great Lock to Pick and your Video has been so helpful. My one has 3 Spools & 3 Steel Pins that are all different sizes so make it hard to Pick. What a Beautiful Creature at the end of your Video and Amazing Footage of him. Keep up the great work Dude. Nick.

  4. If you have set 4 pins and there are 2 left and you get a false set.. wouldn't this mean, that these two have to be spools (mushrooms, whatever)? If one of them were a standard pin, it would have bind immediately and there weren't a false set, right? (I'm sorry.. fairly new to this :-/ )
