My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Hey there. Just discovered this video. I picked up a Russwin salesman sample (mortise deadbolt mounted on a wooden stand) that has four keys with it: Standard, Housekeeper, Maid, and Emergency. I've been able to pick the lock open with little trouble, but not to the full 7-pin Emergency key yet. I haven't fully gutted it, as the screws holding the cam have been crimped in, and I don't want to damage an old lock with my tinkering.

My question. Do you know an approximate age on the locks you have? I can't find any info about the company other than they merged with Corbin, then into ASSA-ABLOY. My lock has the same Russwin logo these have. Thanks in advance! Love the videos.

  2. Mr. B. You're probably right on previous discussions.. My memory is not as good as it used to be since Epilepsy struck me down in 2003. As such, I wonder why SO would offer such unusable gear? Thanks for the last time.

  3. Mr. B. I,m having great problems with my new "comb" picks from S. Ord on Master 101, 103, 105,s Yales, Americans, etc., etc. Is there a way U can show me "comb" video info? Scrabbytoy

  4. Well… it wasn't exactly the first take… On the first try the first lock REFUSED to cooperate. The second take worked out OK tho. Luck plays a big part of this game.
