  1. I've got a pachinco machine magnet lock floating around. Just has a rectangular keyway. The only reason I know it is a magnet lock is because I took it to DefCon in Las Vegas and one of the lockpick sellers there explained it to me.

  2. A BiLock half-Euro cylinder on Amazon.com is US$150.  These things are made to an almost enviable level of precision.  For that reason I couldn't see them being any cheaper in Australia.  The original BiLock was designed under the direction of the Australian armed forces.

  3. Thank you Bill for doing such an Amazing Videos of your Naughty Bucket Locks. I can see you will soon end up having a Naughty Bin instead of the bucket with how many Locks you have that bucket will be full. LOL. Keep up the great work Bill. N.

  4. first i'd like to thank you for taking the time to provide us with all those videos, i have to tell you they are addicting…to say the least. can ypu point me in the right direction?  i have obtained my first lock (masterlock Model #: M930XKADLJ) i removed the cylinder, pins fell out, and and then i turned the cylinder and stuck all the spools the the plug, i had to file down the bible to access springs. do you know of a way i can cover the bible back up ?   ps i watch your videos everyday on the way to work and back home on ipad, thx for making my commute interesting.

  5. Hi Bill,

The Kaba 20 at 2:35 is one I sent you a loooong time ago. I believe it is just a momentary electric switch lock.

As for the magnetic lock it is a MIWA cam lock. The magnets are actually slide back and forth (L and R) on top of the sides of the key. Huxleypig made a decoder to read the magnets in them. You can see his video here of his latest prototype. MIWA Decoder V2

And here is some pictures showing the guts. The first picture in the album shows how the magnet sliders will sit over the key when the right key is in place. This pulls them into the center of the plug and pulls the tabs from the side of the shell allowing the key to turn. From the front they are LRLR sides. http://s1143.photobucket.com/user/Riyame/library/Miwa

  6. I found a vachette you would like evil grin it's a many pinner with a restricted reproduction key and based on an assa, I gonna take a picture of the key, and send it to you via pm if you want.

  7. Look at it this way… imagine the pile of locks you would have if you just kept a bucket of ones you DID pick!  Aww, never mind. That sounds too much like brown nosing lol

  8. Bill,

    Nice collection of stress !
Also, how do those magnetic locks work ?? Do you have any other magnetic locks that you can pick and gut on video ??

  9. I'm so glad you have a Sargent LA keyway cylinder in the bucket. I have a mortise I have been working on that just won't open. The bitting is 778894

  10. This is my first comment on one of your videos. I'm from East Tennessee so of course I would NEVER own a set of picks as an enthusiast and not a licensed locksmith…..*crickets*….but I've literally watched pretty much all of your videos. I look forward to Sundays or the first of the week. My one year old son and I sit on the couch and watch all the videos you've uploaded this week and he must be just as fascinated as I am because he loves it. It's cool to get the occasional peek in your naughty bucket because even though I'm still trying to master top of the keyway tension to get into some locks that would be incredibly basic for you, it's nice to see that no matter how good you get there's always something to get better at. That's where all the fun is anyway :)

  11. No luck on the Dorma I sent you? Well.. I have not been able to the one I kept for myself either. It's a stubborn one for sure.
By the way.. Any openings on the TrioVing locks.

  12. I will take the blame for sending you the primus. If it has milling marks going down the side. Lol where there is a redneck there is a way.
