(905) Review: Mad Bob’s Double Ghost Sets

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. By your suggestion I had just purchased the sparrows competitor kit I can’t wait to get it , it will be my first pick kit and I’m anxious to start picking and test my skills …. Thanks for your videos there great and I’m already designing my first lock to stump you !

  2. Review was great but without skills learnt from you I can only guess what’s best for me

  3. Bill, how is that Medico hook used and why such a weird looking pick for Medico’s ??

  4. Really a well manufactured set of picks. (Either one) I would probably have to have both sets considering the low price and high quality. Almost ready to use right out of the box. Excellent presentation BB!

  5. really top class stuff, but I need them now,I cant wait 6weeks ,My homemade ones are’nt good enough once they get tricky,so I am depending on winning some off you Bill !

  6. With the exception of the .050″ flat top of key way wrench and some other picks, Peterson makes, I really think Sparrows is one of the best values in picks. The wait for Mad Bob’s stuff is a bit lengthy, but this is a nice pair of sets. I am sure the packaging is deliberately done, so you need to buy both, which is something I generally dislike.

  7. I’ve been using paperclips and your videos to pick locks around my house. I’ve practiced so much my paperclip rake has polished itself in my locks lol. A set like this would be a true blessing

  8. Good review: it seems that Mad Bob’s two-sided stuff helps avoiding to get raving mad about picking something.

  9. they do look nice but after already waiting 6 weeks for a set of prybars, I don't think they could ever be worth the wait. I'm not exactly sure why a tension wrench needs to be hand finish either but oh well well see soon.. I hope
