My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I know this is a really old video, but looking at the key it seems very smooth. Could the fact it was so easy to open be just down to wear and tear maybe?

That said, you have 'encouraged' a lot of older locks open that didn't zip or rock. Anyway, nice to see these odd, probably now out of business cylinders. Cheers.

  2. With some of the pieces of crap mortise cylinders, that's EXACTLY how I feel. I may send this one to wadduc2 so his 6-year old son can rake it open on camera.

  3. He would love to as he has not done a video for a bit, he also has a padlock he has to do which makes me laugh… It looks like an American in size and shape, plus removable core. Stamped on it is "WARNING Unauthorised Removal Of This Lock Constitutes Breaking Ans Entering"

God it flies open when just putting the pick in and catching back pin Lol!!!!
