My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Actually, I believe it will. Though the sun may have blown up by that time. Not something that concerns me in the immediate future.

Just to prove my point, though, I'm going to give a frame or two to a couple of the graphics guys in my department, whom I'm sure can cancel out the cylindrical distortion. 😀

  2. Heh. Perhaps so. I bet someone skilled in PhotoShop could correct for the distortion though and generate a pretty faithful portrait of our mate Bill, though 🙂

  3. I think both that one and the Techmax you posted are both Tri-Circle as they both have that fatass keyway (that matches my 50mm tri-circle)

  4. They do seem to be good at polishing what I can only assume is fake brass. Maybe they think that makes up for all the sand inside.

You should machine one open. I bet that the plug is not solid. And it may be made out of that pot metal alloy we discovered in that Germanese lock last year.

  5. Believe me, the distortion makes me look better than real life…

It probably IS a Tri-Circle. I've noticed many of these locks, identical in every way except with a different logo engraved on the front.

  6. I saw the reflection Alex mate… It is how the tripod stays there.. Flock me I am still needing to get a camera that I can do good videos.

Sorry Bill, got thrown off there mate, great video mate… and after the video did you shoot lunch Lol!!!

  7. Really! It is the only African country whose official language is German. In the bush though, they mostly speak Africaans, a close relative of German. If you speak German, you can probably understand Africaans.
