My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. No not yet. USPS didn't even answer my email since the attempt.
The tracking page shows it's still stuck at the same place since around 30 days. 🙁

  2. Well done Bill,,, the only Euro in my naughty pile is the GEGE,, tried picking it endless times,,, just will not pop!! Im glad the popular consensus on GEGE's is that they are indeed not easy! 🙂

  3. Thank you Sir. I have no idea how it got so beat up – it arrived at my door in need of medical assistance… Did your package arrive yet?

  4. Any idea what caused the damage to the front? Several brutal bump attempts?
As for the pins: in 5 pinners 3 pins are serrated 1 pin normal and 1 other normally shaped pin out of steel.
Top pins all normal, occasionally 1 steel top pin.

    Great picking Bill! 🙂
As for the record I think it's a GEGE AP2000.

  5. The GEGE are a pain in the ass buddy… Glad you popped the UAP lock open and winkhaus, I love picking the UAP ones with all the anti everything that comes with them LOL!!!!

  6. Thanks Rich! I still have that one (with your name on it) in my naughty pile and will try to pick it soon. Those Geges are nasty buggers, I'll say that.

  7. Great picking Bill… it is not the GEGE I sent you so must be from Jim. Mine was a snapped brass GEGE. Great picking again buddy.

  8. Your not picking "upside down" Bill! They ain't called "lifters" for nothing, It's the Europeans, they are building their locks, "upside down" maybe as a lockpicking deterrent? or (and this is evil) maybe they want water and crap to eventually fuck your shit up (technically speaking)…now if you really want to talk about picking "upside down" then I'm your guy…Lol it's the way I picked up my 1st lock to pick and still do, to this today…I try sometimes…and I can't pick in a vice either???

  9. Nice Bill! i have never approached one of those but i have read they are not nice. i generally have stayed away from the euro style keyways so far but i need to jump in.
