  1. Yale is owned by Eaton, who made some fabulous and not so fabulous vault doors, and Eaton owns Fuller who makes truck transmissions up to 18 speeds, and now we have 10 speed automatics, which is kinda cool. Why they can't decent padlock is a little mystifying.

  2. problem today is that padlocks and locks for your front door in america are absolute shit. I work as a locksmith in norway and there are about 50 different types we sell at my shop and just one of them are easy to pick. Try picking a lock with pins that have 2 "edges" which are in different hight

  3. your hilarious .I love watching your videos. I'm new to this and I am now making this to be my hobby. I have already picked the abus 71/40 lock in 2 days but still not the best. just learning the feel as of now

  4. Made myself a pick from TIG welding rod, just hammered it flat and shaped it with a file. took me 30 seconds to unlock a first chinese padlock. Thank you for these tutorials, just watched few and i can open locks to confuse people:D. Made it from welding rod made for welding cr25mo40 tube.

  5. Sorry for the dumb question, but whats that hole next to the cylinder for? Ive seen some locks with and without it leading me to believe theres a special use

  6. I have a very old Yale lock. It still works with key. However, once unlocked, you need to turn the key in the lock, to re-lock it. Did they make then like that? Or is this lock just so old and rusty, that you need to do this? Also, I'll send you the lock for free, if your interested in using it in one of your videos. It's at least 50 years old.

  7. Always thought Yale was one of the top locks. Amazing how easily you cracked it. Was part of the weak point that the pins were close to the same length? At least in this case.

  8. I have a SANG padlock that is almost the same as your Yale. Its looks like a real badass padlock, 50mm and 5 pins. But I opened it with a tweezer after SPP picking it with one of my home made pick =)

  9. Hey, Bill, Got a question, where can i buy theese rakes the cheapest, the same rakes that you're using are 37 pounds on Ebay.
