My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Interestingly the original Zeiss Ikon Cruciform Locks came with the pins only on 3 sides and not on 4 sides. Not sure if you knew that. I have to get you and original vintage Zeiss Ikon Cruciform lock one day. On the original old models they used "ANTINITSTAHL STIFTE" (Antinitsteel pins) which were rumoured to be very reliable, long lasting and superior against rust.

  2. +bosnianbillVery Nice Bill. Cool Locks Too. 😀 Just a quick question when I SPP a Cruciform Lock should I be looking for the binding pin in one side of the X I.e. Side 1 and then move on to the next part of the X side 2 or just go wherever the next binding pin is out of the 4 sides? If you can let me know that would be great. I've got a nice Matlock Cruciform Lock and I can take it with a Cross Pick but that's not as fun. I have SPP'd it twice but I did rake it with a Half Diamond before so I don't know if that had preset any of the pins before I SPP'd it. Anyway Keep up the great work Dude. 😀 N.

  3. Great video Bill. I was very surprised how well that rake key works that I made from an old cruciform car lock.

  4. Can you imagine that 16 pin lock pinned up with a bunch of ruko pins? I shutter at the thought… That would take a little steam out of your whistle. So sad that the guts are locked in!

  5. Well I don't have the cross tool so I had to SPP it which took a while longer 🙂
The Fanal I got it in Mexico, a few people I spoke with there say it is a "very high quality lock".
    Great video Bill :)

  6. Hi, I'm a new viewer and i just wanna say thanks for all the really amazing videos. I've watches about 10 or so between today and yesterday =] Really professional and intruiging!

  7. Security is always cat and mouse. One person designs a secure lock another person will design a pick…… and on and on we go. Cool video and really sweet picks.
