My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. 😀 i only watch this channel to learn what locks are more than likely impossible so i could take my bike places without worry of it being gone once i get out of class ^_^

  2. Nice picking bill. Just a quick clarification though, (hope its not a stupid question) but why would the key not fit into the side you picked? But would go into the otherside. Was each side pinned differently? Or were the pins just stuck.

  3. Know any good places to learn the skill of locksmithing?   I want to get my dcjs licenses and all too, in Virginia. If you know anything I'd appreciate it.
    Love your videos

  4. Hey, just wondering if you could recommend a decent set of picks for beginners? Southord and Goso seem reasonably priced from what I can see. Cheers and thanks for the vids!

p.s. anyone know about lock picking laws in Sweden? Possession/purchasing and so?

  5. I really enjoyed this video Bill…

I learned a few things, like "holes in the warding"? I think you're saying that the warding runs the entire length of the keyway but has gaps or holes to accommodate for the keypins? If so, it's good to know. Is this the way wardings are on all locks?

I'd love to have a better look at that key though. (hint hint) lol and more explanation about the different features it looked like it had a slider? And that ? (I forget what you call the points on a key) first one at the tip looks odd, like it has a hook or something? Maybe it's just to go around the warding. Even the side of the key we didn't see to well seemed odd looking…

I apologize for the amount of questions and wouldn't be surprised if you don't have time to answer. Especially when I'm not sure if people even understand half of what I'm babbling about…

    Peace n Tanks
