  1. I think trying to pick these locks is relatively pointless. If you are a locksmith it could take you hours to pick that sucker and it would almost be cheaper for them to just buy another one. If you are looking to BandE you might as well punch or drill it because you dont have that kind of time.

  2. I recently starting trying to pick two medecos i purchased, one is a classic and one a biaxial, both 5 pins, i am having a hell of a time rotating the pins, anybody have any tips for it?

  3. Hey mate, love your videos! This lock has actually been a thorn in my side for a while! Believe it or not, this was my very first lock that I ever picked (after 7 days) but I really think I was just lucky. Anyhow, I've got another one of these lately and I haven't been able to pick it yet… been a few days now with a few hours here and there. Do you have any suggestions I could try out? Cheers.

  4. Yeah, it definitely hard on key pins! You right though, it sure requires a commitment of time and concentration. I'm glad I did it but am not sure I'll make Medecos an obsession.

  5. Yes, they are home made picks (most of them anyway). I make them out of stainless steel feeler gage. There are MANY materials much better than hacksaw blade – check out the video I made about a month or two ago about selecting materials for picks titled "Pick Making Part 1: Materials Selection. It should give you some ideas. Great channel BTW: I watching all your stuff.

  6. Wow! That must have been a sweet victory. Are those picks home made? If they are, what did you make them from? I can't find anything better then hack saw blades…
