My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Just received my first set of picks that I ordered after looking at a bunch of your videos. I'm from Sweden so I actually bought this lock at Biltema before looking at this video. To have as a beginners lock…
It would be amazing to crack it, but I've been on it for a couple of hours, and it's hard! Maybe it's those x-mas tree pins, it kind of feels like I have to release the tension on the bar so much to pick them, that the other fault sets (if that's how you spell that) is released. Well well, on it again I guess.

  2. I bet you ASSA makes that lock.. Biltema is odd that way, all of a sudden one of their products turns out to be made by a large quality manufacturer…

  3. Biltema is actually from Sweden, that have later expanded to the other nordic countries. Biltema means "Car theme" literally, and it's a chain that originally sold cheap pirated car parts, but nowadays also sell all sorts of cheap stuff like office supplies, hardware, electric and plumbing supplies, bicycles and much more at that. I would not buy a lock from there, but obviously it works surprisingly well.

  4. Then I owe the Chinese an apology. This one is GREAT quality with super tolerances and pretty nice pins. If this is the quality that we can expect from the Chinese in the future, them we had better give up lock picking and take up a new hobby, like macrame or embroidery…

  5. I'm nowhere NEAR the top performers (look at Chessman125, imshatten, kokomolock, wizwazzle, and many others), but thank you for the compliment. I still have too many to count in that darn box…

  6. The standard of generic locks in Norway is too damn high! – how on earthl does a beginner lockpicker get started in Norway if this is their version of a Bestbuy lock?
