My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. that lock would have been made in Greeneville Tn , where I am , it's hard to believe such a well known lock company closed up because they lost the contract with Ford Motor Company … now the kicker , they lost that long time contract over a GOLF GAME ! true story … it was also a kick in the teeth to the town , many jobs were lost over night ;(

  2. I think this lock can come apart.  Whoever gets this check to see if you can probe with an L shaped tool at the bottom of the shackle.hole towards the cylinder.

  3. Anyone know the history of the Hurd lock company? I sent one to k77 and have another one its an old brass smaller lock that I would love to know more about. The one I have has been in service for I am guessing at least 50 plus years it was my dads. Very cool locks. Looks like they all used the same odd looking keyway

  4. Always enjoy watching your videos!!  Still trying to pick a couple of Yale post office door locks. I have a master key which fits the Yale keyway and cannot even shim these.  I have used several types of lubricant but the shim will only go in half way. Anyone reading this let me know if you have any ideas!!. (other than trashing them)

  5. Another great video, could you try giving the kwikset smart key lock a try. I've been trying to get it for hours over the past week and no luck or sign of security keys. Really WEIRD lock
