My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Great work as always bill. Finally got my first pick set from sparrows. You make it look way easier than it is. What do you mean by "gatekeeper" when referring to a pin?

  2. Why can't I pick my American padlock I just bought?! – It must be broken? 😉 I got frustrated, removed the wafer and bought a freaking bypass driver- More than one way to skin a cat! I am looking forward to one day getting that sucker picked for real though- My skills have improved leaps and bounds, just watching a master (you) at work. Thank you for your time and efforts! Much appreciated-

  3. Great work as usual.  After watching your continued success, I am still thinking about that Paclock, and why it was so much trouble..?

  4. I am having an impossible time getting any feedback AT ALL from any lock I try to pick. Any lock I have picked seems to me more luck than skill and I am starting to get very fucking frustrated! Do you have any advice at all to help with this.

  5. Hey Bill, I am thinking about getting some picks and start picking for sport, but i have a question: Is there a set of picks you would recommend for a beginner, to kinda get started and start practicing on some easy locks?
