My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1.      Picking car locks is a skill that dose have it's advantages even in today's vehicles. For example there are many cars that have no access to the trunk from the inside of the car so when a customer locks the keys in the trunk you must know how to pick the lock. It's the only non distructive way you getting the keys back.
This also applies for semi tractor trailer or commercial vehicle doors. Modern conventional vehicle opening tools such as air wedges and rods will not work. The door is to stiff and the overlap is to great for any of that stuff to be useful. Again you must pick the lock to get in.

  2. That is an old Chrysler trunk lock, there is also a key code on it should be a letter and 4 numbers. They rake real easy also.

  3. Bill,

Is is safe to "assume" that the pins are on top on a vehicle lock? Also, are the ignition, door, trunk locks the same configuration ??
