  1. Thanks for the locks Bill. I have the LOB that you didnt try. I finally raked it open. Took a while for some reason. Plain bottom and top pins just like the one you did here but a different bitting. I disassembled it and and am trying to drill and tap to make sort of a training/challenge lock since it didnt have a key. When I get set up for making videos, I will show the modified version and forward on to the next victim. thanks again.

  2. Posted on accident. I've picked the abus titallium constantly with spool pins and an abus 83 with no prob after learning the feed back of spool pins but this American 5200 I picked up is kicking my ass. Deep cut in the back. I cheated and gutted it. All serrated but a serrated spool in the back. How should I go about getting better at serrated pins? Is this the best lock to practice on?

  3. Hey does anyone know if there's a group in Australia who send challenge locks around? Because I've got a few I'd be willing to send to people, and I need a few challenges.

  4. Enjoy all the videos. I was re-keying my garage door this weekend and I starting thinking "what would Bill do?" Any chance we could get a video showing what a door lock at the BosnianBill house might look like?

  5. Got lucky with that one with out a clip on it. I have blown a few cylinders picking after removing the clip, pins and springs flying every where LOL

  6. i think that i will buy a cheapo lock and try to turn it into a lock for you.
to make it harder i might use pieces of Carbide in the springs to make them nice and crunchy

  7. In Poland much of old locks works only if you pull out the key a little. I've thought that is completly normal behavior, isn't it? And Gerda has really good reputation in here. I'm in shock that you picked it so easly. I will not sleep at night.

  8. Bill can I get your email?  There are a couple of interesting things from Australia I'd like to mail you, as well as ask you about tips on picking for left handers..
