My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I hope someone else can have the privilage of getting gray and wise with this masterpiece!

  2. What an awesome lock, can’t imagine how much time went into it or how he managed to make those pins. And all credit to Bill for being able to pick that. I can only dream …

  3. Watching you patiently go over and over the stack, gives me renewed inspiration to be more patient. Also, good reminder to try all the picks if one doesn’t work. And Gilbert must be some kind of machining genius to create those pins. Wow. Impressive machining.

  4. Very impressive machining of those pins. Just when you think you have seen them all, someone comes up with another innovated design. As always, great video and great commentary of what the lock is doing.

  5. I loved every second of the 22 minute video. Awesome lock and great to watch you working so patiently on it. You didn’t use the phrase ‘alien technology’, but Gilbert’s workmanship looks impossible; floating serrations? Really? How? Great video, my coffee got cold while I was watching.

  6. Ow damn. I'm early for a change.
Well done. 15 minute lock… noice. I can't keep my attention for that long.
    You weren't lucky, it's that pick, it's magical 😀
(by the by, you said nasty bucket. That lock isn't nasty. You meant naughty bucket, right?)

  7. hi bill, have you seen home made hair clappers electric one on YouTube they turn it to a lock picks and some times you might seen it on a movie
