My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Bill, Have you considered filing serrations in the side of your top of the keyway tension wrenches to see if that will help them from wondering out on you

    1. NOT FROM ME! I may send you that Chinese TruGaurd 5 spool + 1 lock. There is a neat trick to opening it, but you know more tricks than I do. I mean tricks besides shimming, bypassing, or destructive entry. It took me a while, but I did single pin pick it. After that I figured out a faster easier easier way, besides shimming it. After getting a deep false set the whole lock binds up and gives me almost nothing. There is an oddball off center pin in the back, and then 5 spools.

      1. Oh yeah the comment about top of keyway wrenches. I have been making my own for ages from old cheapie hardware store Gardner Bender fish tape spring steel. I carefully grind a symmetrical wedge shape in mine, so they stick in the brass keyways. Two much grinding or too acute an angle and they hit the outside pins, so I have several. I have to put a twist in them so they angle parallel to the keyway. Some of them have a 2″ 90 dgree offset to clear door knobs.
