(254) Picking & Bypassing Wafer Locks

  1. Hello Bill , have you actually used a postal pick , I have never come across a lock large enough
    To accommodate it ? .
I presume there is some tie in with the post office !, can you shed any light on the subject.
I have been an avid fan of your You tube videos for about a year and a half now, my first set if
Picks we as a Goso set ( before you did reviews ! ) ,soon realised they were very poor quality,
Didn’t fit in many locks that I had access to ,so , made my own using bi-metal hacksaw blades
Long story short !just bought a serenity set from ukbumpkeys ,nice review, nice picks.
I think the reason you do so well, is you don’t seem sleazy or shady ? A genuine nice bloke , someone if I found you in my living room ide offer you a cuppa ( tea ) ,
You might have said in one of your videos , but , what is your day job ??’
I’ll shut up and leave you alone now , keep the videos coming Bill

    Many Thanks

  2. ive got thatwafer lock on a lockbox i was given from my parents who bought it at a second hand store. its a double sided wafer lock, ive only been picking for a week. i can already do standard pin and tumbler fairly easy but the wafer lock on this thing is very hard for me. even using the key it requires a lot of force to get it in the hole and turn it, is the lock pickable?

  3. Expensive everywhere I look for these wafer picks over €24. Where can I get these picks cheap? And is there any diffence with standard double sided picks? Or can anyone make these 4piece chigago wafer picks?

  4. Hi Bill, have you tried jiggling open these locks with only a tension wrench. It actually works for me so I tested all my picks too with a tension wrench and no surprise it works.
    These locks are garbage.

  5. i love your catch phrase, "stay safe, stay legal." Honestly that is probably the best phrase anyone could think of for your types of videos.  I have never picked a lock but i really enjoy watching your vids, keep it up!

  6. wtf is with this weird lock, it opens the LOCK? so what does the real arm thingy of the lock do? is this a design thing?

  7. Are car door locks waffers too? I havent seen you do a car door pick yet, but not sayin its not up here out of your 500+ vids. If you havent, it be really cool to see!

  8. Jim, you pick wafers EXACTLY the same way as pin tumblers. There's really no difference (unless they are double sided wafers, they you just go back and forth from one side to the other).
