(193) Emmett’s Ruko Euro Cylinder Picked Open

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Thanks for your channel Bill! I've been watching a little while now and I've learned a lot and picked up plenty of tips. I recently bought my first set of Southord picks and some extra flat tensioners. After a week of work, I finally managed to pick a Ruko 5 pin Euro cylinder 30/10/30 which looks very similar to the one in this video. It's stamped with 5EA759 and AK31 (which is stamped over AK29) and I'm unsure if these relate to a lock series. Any ideas?

  2. Almost all the Ruko's I have picked, have serrations in the chambers, and double spools. But then again, all the Ruko's I have seen picked outside Denmark have different keyway and pins, so…

  3. Hey, I didn't gut it so it doesn't count anyway! I…ummm…don't know how, yeah, that's it, I don't know how. (Maybe I'd better open'er up and take a look).

  4. I'd be surprised if there aren't any security pins in that, the few I've had a go at have had some evil pins inside. (Probably my worst lit videos ever so I'll go and hide now)
