  1. Thanks for the heads up on this lock. I just got lucky and found a lot of 2 on ebay so they are on there way. If I ever get a video camera I'll video me struggling with them so you can see just how good you really are compared to us mortals. lol

  2. As I said, no prob. If you change your mind later, just drop a note. You'll notice I haven't tackled a Best yet either… They are real bitches and fight everything you can throw at them. Funny thing, they don't have security pins but the tight tolerences + radical bitting + deep, restricted keyways make a formidable foe.

  3. No prob. It was for selfish reasons as well. One of the locks was a Best Brand 7-pinner that I haven't had any luck with and was hoping someone else could whip it.

  4. jdjojoda, sounds like the locks in Belfast aren't challenging you enough. I've got some stuff that'll give you a good run, including one of my new Abus Titaliums. THOSE will spin you up! PM your address. bosnianbill1 AT gmail DOT com.

  5. I have a whole bucket of S&G Environmentals (0881s) you can have! Also, you might be interested in the latest "The Independent Locksmith's Journal" article about curtain picking. Excellent article about getting around low levers with the Chris Belcher double ender. I have a pdf if you'd like to look at it. bosnianbill1 AT gmail DOT com.

  7. Great job, they can be a real PITA!!! I was never given any padlocks at Basic Training, I am calling Uncle Sam and complaining!!! Maybe he will send me a couple S&G's!!

  8. You're not the only one to get a run for your money outta one of those. I too have come across a few that were very finicky and kept me busy for a surprising amount of time. lol. Nice pickin'
