My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Thanks for all the information. Those picks were made with longer handles, the stadard ones where to short and didn’t rest on my hand well enough, to see if it would make holding it easier.

  2. I’m a newbie too, just want to say when I get to where I make a challenge lock, I hope it’s as half good as okottas.

  3. key pin 1 make double spooled, key pin 2 and 4 could use some serrations
and as always make the keyway paracentric as hell, generally speaking if you do things like bills naughty bucket video and use some "alien technology" then the lock will be extremely difficult to pick.

  4. Only thing I could suggest is threading the chambers that had the serrated pins. And maybe use a drill chuck to hold the key pins if you're to thread them again. The tips look a bit mashed from a lathe chuck. Other than that, it had some original elements Bill has not yet seen so that's great. Good job overall.
