Trevor Pierce sent in several locks for the LockLab to play with and this unique Master 911 was the first to grab my attention.  It probably had something to do with the unique name, bright yellow color, and….shininess.  Yes, my wife’s right:  I AM a simple creature…

Anyway, this #astard 911 put up a pretty good fight and Trevor went to some trouble to put together his first challenge lock.  Lots of threading and some nasty hand made pins rounded things out.  In the end, I made a few minor changes to improve reliability and called it good.  Whoever the luck winner of this lock is better bring plenty of food and water to the picking, because it won’t be a short affair.

  1. Wow!! I’m still pretty new, but I was under the impression that there weren’t ANY Masters worth the buy. Nice to know there are still a couple gems left from them.

  2. love learning from your videos Bill… I learn more and more with every one i watch…

  3. I was wondering where you get the tension wrenches that have the furbelow cut into them?

  4. Just a noob wanting practice locks. Watching late at night, heavy eyelids, I almost missed the furbelow.

  5. I love your videos and watch them everyday I think it said something about the secret word maybe it’s Master Lock 911

  8. ah . but they do usually stamp the butting number on the keys right? so if that were the case and you went from bow to tip and had an idea of what the depths were it would give an advantage. but if u had the key u could just use it lol
