(169) New Locks for the Lock Lab – (THANKS MRESURM!!)

LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Ive been using slims but you're right, I can't get the pins high enough to set. I'm going to make a 0.015" thick Euro profile super-postal hook…may be too weak tho. That Sargent must have some Evil technology inside. Lots of crunching, no setting. I'm going to consume some adult beverages and have another go at it.

  2. 😀 From what I hear most people use the euro slims picks on them just to help get past the warding. Not sure how you are going to get the pins high enough though. Have you tried that Sargent LFIC yet?

  3. No joke! I already tried the jinky warded one. I can't even get a pick up near the pins! I'm going to need some alien technology to get that thing open.

  4. Well thankfully that corbin gave you a bit of trouble 😛 Most people complain abut the Yales but they try to spp them. That brass half euro is known as the "crazy keyway euro" and there are a couple of them floating around this side of the world.
The Sargent was keyed up by a member of keypicking named Selim and he is known to be an evil bastard so have fun with that one 😉
And good luck with the Marks, it has a bit easier biting on it so maybe you will have success.

  5. I have some very nice stuff waiting for you and already putting together various things. All the Europrofiles will be brandnew and GERMAN not GERMANESE Quality!!! And pick up your god damn phone! 😀

  6. The WSW is very expensive but you can have mine. I have the card of the Inventor of it and will probably be able to get another one. My package won't be that small trust me 😉

  7. I am counting on YOU to obtain one for me. We will exchange packages (mine BIG, yours small) in the Frankfurt Airport in February as I pass thru headed for Namibia. Details to follow via PM.
