(176) Schlage Everest for MMESIMON27

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Ha, I've got one of these lying around…I recognize the keyway…I had no idea about that detent? Probably why I've never opened her! Peace n Tanks

  2. Thanks for this video. You just saved me $30 on a pair of Peterson Everest dedicated tension wrenches I was going to buy.
    I won't tell Peterson. haha
    Take care, Rick

  3. You'll get it. It has no security pins, so you can just moosh them into position – just watch the jinky bitting on your lock. With the hi-low-hi it is easy to push two at once and not realize it. BTW: the video took about 6 tries to get it right… No matter how much you practice, how many notes you make, how you layout the tools, or how you adjust lighting… everything goes wrong once you hit the "record" button… When everything DOES go perfectly, THAT's when the lock won't pop open…

  4. Is that the door open at 45 degree rotation? I probably asked the question poorly in my last comment but having not encountered these detents, is there a trick to these once they get trapped? Come on Show us a full 360 degree turn 🙂

  5. Bill that's great thanks you. I saw you picked this type of lock before, I was behind on your videos. My attitude has change from can I open the lock to how long is this going to take me to open it. You are definitely a lock guru.
