(1024) Tobias & Julian’s Masterpiece

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. What great workmanship. True craftsmen to think up such nice things and then be able to make them. Thanks for sharing them with us on this side of the pond.

  2. Wow! I was thinking about making one like your, but make five ways to deter the criminal from breaking in. Thanks for your creative ideas!

  3. I’m trying not to be too blunt, but the intended audience will know what I’m talking about. Can anyone donate an old unused ceramic ‘tweeker’ to Bill? They are old school things used to turn the variable capacitors and inductors in older radio devices during tuning. They are made of ceramic to eliminate any magnetic interference during the tuning process. I can appreciate his chosen pointing device of choice, but the constant magnetic attraction of it to the pins is just as ingratiating as the loudness of his video openings. Thanks Bill, as always, we enjoy the videos!

  4. Hey bill my pick set arrived, dark shift set, ultra decoder, and more tension wrenches.
They look slightly smaller then i thought they would (i did assume your hands were pretty giant)
So i looked around my house for some small lock to pick, i managed to find some terrible chinese lock.
I say terrible but im not certain, it doesnt turn like its a cylinder, im not sure how to open it, but from what i could make out with the decoder im pretty sure its similar to the masterlock bypass where you put a pick in the tumbler, but is there any chance you would be interested in me sending it?
