My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. @bosnianbill Have you considered milling out a spacer to put between your tripod mount and camera so that you can plug in your AC adapter… to be able to just stop using batteries?

You could also just drill holes into the bottom of the tripod base right where you need it to allow the adapter plug through.

  2. Bill: Did you try to open a lock like this using a shim? I mean pushing it between the core and the bible, and just picking the pins one after the other. Would it work?

  3. What I've learned from the channel is that I need to put euro locks in all my locked doors. Especially one as complicated as this.
