(985) LockLab’s Toolkit

LockLab is Fan funded!  Help pay for stuff to review, break and talk trash about, and maybe even give away when we’re done.  Join the Tribe!

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. As always, very logical and analytical. Keep the vids coming; your massively reducing my learning curve. Appreciate it all.

  2. I was a bit surprised that the SSDev picks were .025″, but yeah, such a narrow profile won’t last long in .015″. Thanks for the insight into your lab 🙂

  3. After watching a bunch of your video’s decided to get a Panavise. What a great addition to anyones toolset. Exactly what you stated. Wide mouth, holds any lock, and very stable. Never disappointed yet getting a tool that your reviewed and like. Tired of being let down by a Chinese knockoff.

  4. Since I am new to machining, is it possible to get specific recommendations on the hand taps. As well, if you know the metric names that would really help.

A great collection of tools which, if seen by my wife, would worry her.

  5. Great information and thanks for sharing this. I thought I was crazy for being new to this hobby and having three sets of picks but after seeing the bags of picks that you have I knew I wasn’t as crazy as you lol.

  6. I've been hoping for a video like this for awhile.

Now I am interested in your speciality bypasses, more advanced / picks (tubular locks, disk detainer, etc.), rarely used things.
