  1. Bill I'm 12 and I already have a southhord pick set but I was wondering if you could send me a really newbie lock that you'll never use. I mean like just standard pins. I just started but I can't afford locks. I got the pick set for my birthday. But locks are just so expensive so if you could please. If you can just ask in a private message for my address

  2. You said you would send it to newbies, do you actually send them to beginners when you're done with them? And if so, where can I sign up?

  3. Bill,I have a question-how do you manage to juggle job, family, picking locks, managing this channel and STILL have time to reply to dickheads like me?!

  4. Love your videos, I'm learning a lot even though at the moment I'm too poor to afford more than a 4 pc. Keychain pick set and no padlocks lol, but watching all of these videos gives me hope for when I finally can afford to journey further into an interesting trade/skill. Thank you for making these videos for us.

  5. how far back in your archives do I need to go to learn the basics?  Been watching you for about a month now, and the more I watch, the more I want to give this a try.

  6. Hi Bill. Great videos, just starting out and learning alot from your vast collection of youtube videos. Any chance you have a couple of spares you could send me to get me started? Would be very grateful.

  7. Thanks for the reply, I watched another video of yours and purchased the mul t lock c1 #13 p/n 51249429 with MT5+ keys & removable shackle guard. How did I do?

  8. @Bosnianbill
I have a question. I have recently been watching your videos just out of curiosity,I was wondering. Do you own a locksmith business and do this for a living or do you just pick and study locks for a hobby because you are very educated in your skill. If you have time to respond to me thanks much bill!

  9. That ending! Oh my goodness! I'm dying… Love your videos Bill! I'm thinking about getting into picking as a hobby after watching you. It looks like a lot of fun with near infinite room to improve.

  10. Hey Bill.

Just wanted to drop a line as a thanks for making all these videos — you were one of the core folks that got me into locks, and now onto YouTube as well. (:

    Keep on pickin’.

  11. I have 2 with the same keyway. They have high set pin in the back with a very low in the front of it.  It's a dog to open, for me anyway.    I liked your approach to this one.

  12. Bill,

Great to watch as always.  I have a question for you guys.  I live in a semi-arid desert.  I have noticed something with locks I get.  Locks arrive, I am many times able to open them with no issues.  I put on shelve and months later I can't seem to get a feel for them anymore.  I am finding this happens over and over, even to locks that are very simple to open.

Could the dry air be causing me issues?  If so, any suggestions other than simply lubricating them?  In particular, I like to carry locks around to practice with and putting lubricant on them will obviously cause issues carrying them around.  Or any ideas how to lubricate and not have a greasy mess in my pockets.

I have the orange spray, and two liquid lubricants – one is a 'dry' for high end locks, the other is a regular Teflon lubricant.

Just looking for ideas – thanks as always.

  13. wait you have a newb bucket thats awesome lol 😛
i myslef just started lockpicking myself its pretty cool 😀 im quit happy that i managed to get the tri-circle 264 open had alot of trouble with that. anyway i've got another couple of lock but one is so easy that just puting tension and putting your pick in opens it 😛 the other one is…. a verry small keyway and the 3rd one has a cover over the keyway so i cant properly tension it :/ you got any tips for those types of locks?

anyway awesome video and channel like always :D

  14. Wicked Video & Picking Bill I would love to know what pins are in it tho. Keep up the great work.
