My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. I cleared one of those locks with a screw driver some pliers and a rock once. Was the middle of winter and my oil tank key was missing so I gripped the locking bar with the pliers to apply tension stuck the screwdriver into the lock and hit it with the rock a few times. Lo and behold the brass pins inside sheared from the percussive shock and the low temp and as soon I turned the screw driver the locking bar released with a crunch of brass. Not clean but if cars from the 80's and 90's taught me is that brass turns to dust when sheared with shock through the barrel of a lock.

  2. Glock v/s crow… Working under pressure. Lol.. Great pick on a POS lock Bill, but it's nice and shiny lock. And additionally I know I commented on an old video…. Thanks..

  3. This was the only lock the hardware store had so I couldn't compare bittings. For all I know there is only 1 key that fits ALL these locks…LOL. No, I filmed it about 2 weeks ago while overseas but couldn't upload it until I got home because there's no bandwidth over there.
