(99) U.S. Lock Padlock SPP’d and Gutted

My vises are made by Panavise, a U.S. Company.  The one with the wide jaws is the model 350.  The smaller one is the model 301. Both have the 312 Base mount – www.panavise.com

  1. Pretty much, although the American Locks are pinned in a variety of ways. Most often the key pins are serrated as well though. They don't really come into play though unless you seriously overset a pin, then it prolongs your agony until you figure out your mistake.

  2. That was my hope. Unfortunately, it seems many of the locks were outside and the pins/cores are frozen. I'll try to use the wafer breaker and bypass tool to open the bad ones so I can rebuild them. Still, a lot of great locks for almost nothing!
